YORK, Britain, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) -- Ronnie O'Sullivan eased past Tom Ford to reach the final of the UK Snooker Championship for the eighth time here on Saturday.
O'Sullivan, 43, is one match away from winning a record seventh title at this tournament. He has now won 26 out of 27 matches in this tournament over the past four years.
He will fight for the title against the other semifinal between Mark Allen and Stuart Bingham over 19 frames, with the winner to earn 170,000 pounds.
"I'm pleased to be in the final," said O'Sullivan. "Tonight it will be two heavyweights going toe to toe and whoever I play tomorrow it will be a very tough match."
