YORK, England, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- Ronnie O'Sullivan beat Martin O'Donnell 6-1 to reach the UK Championship semifinal for the 11th time at York's Barbican Centre on Friday.
The Rocket, bidding for a record seventh UK Championship title, will now meet Tom Ford, who reached his first last four with a victory over Joe Perry 6-2.
O'Sullivan, who turned 43 on Wednesday, won the title last year to equal Steve Davis' record of six UK victories.
Former world champion Stuart Bingham eased past Kyren Wilson 6-1 to set up a clash with Mark Allen, who crushed the 2004 winner Stephen Maguire 6-1.
