TOKYO, July 24 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks rallied Tuesday morning on bargain hunting of investors after recent falls.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average rose 137.04 points, or 0.61 percent, from Monday to 22,534.03.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was up 11.94 points, or 0.69 percent, at 1,750.64.
Gainers were led by other financial stock, marine transportation, and oil and coal product issues.
