HEFEI, June 28 (Xinhua) -- Eight people died and another four were injured when a truck rear-ended another and caused fire in a nearby house in Yingshang County, east China's Anhui Province, local authorities said.
The accident happened at around 2 a.m. Thursday. One vehicle was an oil tanker. Leaked oil caught fire, setting a nearby house ablaze, according to the county's publicity department.
A driver, six people in the house and another unidentified person were killed.
The fire was put out at around 4 a.m.. All the injured have been taken to hospital. Further investigation is underway.
