Germany win European Games men's team table tennis and Olympic berth

MINSK, June 29 (Xinhua) -- Germany won men's team table tennis tournament at the 2019 European Games here on Saturday, beating Sweden 3-0 in the final.

The title also gifted Germany a berth of the Tokyo Olympic Games men's table tennis tournament.

Germany fielded Timo Boll, Dimitrij Ovtcharov and Patrick Franziska in today's final.

Earlier, Portugal defeated Danmark 3-1, taking the bronze.
