YANGON, May 31 (Xinhua) -- Swe Zin Htet, from Myanmar’s Kayin state, was crowned the title of “Miss Universe Myanmar-2019” late on Friday.
Swe Zin Htet, who represented Hpa-an, capital of Kayin state, grabbed the crown to be a contestant in the upcoming 68th Miss Universe Competition which is set to be held later this year.
Miss Universe Myanmar Pageant 2019 is the seventh time of such kind which has been held since 2013 and Hnin Thway Yu Aung, representative from Bago region, won the title last year.
Miss Universe Beauty Pageant is one of the world’s oldest and most important beauty pageants.
