YANGON, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Four people including three women were killed on the spot with 15 others injured in a truck accident in Myanmar's Kayin state, according to the Home Affairs Ministry on Saturday.
The accident took place in Hlaingbwe township on Friday morning, the release said.
A truck carrying 19 people aboard rolled backward and plunged into a nearby ravine at a depth of nine meters as the truck engine stopped while it was travelling on the uphill road in the township.
The injured were brought to the Hpa-an General Hospital for treatment.
The truck driver was charged for negligence driving by the township police.
