Indian paramilitary troopers stand guard at a closed market during a security lockdown in Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir, March 8, 2019. The normal life in parts of Indian-controlled Kashmir on Friday remained affected due to a shutdown. The call for strike was given by the region's separatist groups. Meanwhile, authorities imposed restrictions in areas of Srinagar city as a precautionary measure.
