SARAJEVO, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) beat Scotland 10-1 in the preliminary round for FIFA Futsal World Cup on Wednesday in Zenica, a city located 70 kilometers northwest of the capital Sarajevo.
Mario Aladzic from the host team opened the scoring in the 5th minute and the home team led 4-0 in the first half.
After the interval, BiH fielded in several young players but kept the momentum till the end.
Currently, BiH are topping Group F with 6 points.
The 2020 FIFA Futsal World Cup in Lithuania is scheduled to take place from September 12 to October 4, 2020 with 24 contenders.
