RIO DE JANEIRO, Jan. 25 (Xinhua) -- The latest batch of tickets for this year's Copa America final were sold out within two hours on Friday.
The second online sales phase began at 12pm local time and by 1:30pm there were no longer tickets available for the tournament decider, to be played at Rio's Maracana Stadium on July 7.
Demand was also high for the quarterfinal match at Corinthians Arena in Sao Paulo. Only tickets for people with special needs remain available for the clash on June 28.
Organizers said fans could still purchase tickets to the final in a later sales phase.
Copa America admission prices range from eight US dollars for the cheapest seats to 240 US dollars for premium tickets.
Fans can request up to five tickets each for a maximum of seven matches but cannot make requests for two different games on the same day.
Tickets are available on the official CONMEBOL and Copa America websites.
The Copa America, the world's oldest continental football tournament, will be held in five Brazilian cities from June 14 to July 7.
This year's edition will include each of CONMEBOL's 10 member nations plus guests Japan and Qatar.
