Olympic champion Chen Long through to badminton Malaysia Masters final

JAKARTA, Jan. 18 (Xinhua) -- China's Olympic badminton gold medalist Chen Long defeated Indonesia's Asian Games champion Anthony Sinisuka Ginting in the semifinals of the 2019 Malaysia Masters badminton tournament.

Chen defeated his opponent 21-11, 22-20 at Kuala Lumpur Sport City on Friday, and will play either Son Wan-ho of South Korea or Malaysia's Liew Daren in Sunday's final.

The 2019 Malaysia Masters is the second tournament on the 2019 BWF World Tour.
