ACCRA, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- Ghana Football Association's Normalization Committee (NC) on Tuesday inaugurated six ad hoc committees to help it execute its mandate.
The committees are Domestic Leagues, Communications, National Teams, Technical and Development, Referees Committee, Marketing and Sponsorship Committee.
The NC has identified series of defects in Ghana football after engaging with various stakeholders, following its inauguration in September last year to steer the affairs of football in Ghana for six months.
The main task of the various ad hoc committees is to make proposals to address some of these issues identified in their respective areas.
The president of the NC, Kofi Amoah was confident members of the committee would bring their rich experience to bear by making incisive inputs which would help reform football in Ghana.
The NC has until the end of March to complete its work by instituting the necessary reforms and ensure that the GFA is ready for election of substantive members of the executive committee.
This follows the suspension of football and its related activities in June 2018 after a documentary by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas that exposed bribery and corruption in the administration of football in Ghana.
