YANGON, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Movie experts of Myanmar and China held discussions on cooperation in developing movie industry at the Cultural Center of the Chinese Embassy in Yangon along with the closing of the Chinese film festival.
The two sides vowed on Wednesday to continue to hold more festivals of its kind next year to promote cultural exchange and mutual understanding between the two countries and the two peoples.
They also pledged to cultivate world-known Myanmar artists through the cooperation of the two sides in the future.
A Chinese film festival had been held in Myanmar since Oct. 13, during which three Chinese movies -- "Never Say Die," "Wolf Warrior 2" and "Operation Red Sea" and others were screened for 27 shows in rural areas of six states and regions with Myanmar language dubbing.
The high-tech screening equipment were provided by China Film Group and the China New Rural Digital Film Screening Co Ltd.
