JAKARTA, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- The 11th Southeast Asia Table Tennis Championship kicked off on Thursday at the Merpati sport stadium in Bali, Indonesia.
A total of 55 players from the five countries will be competing in the event, according to head of the country's table tennis association Oegroseno.
Indonesia will send four young players to the event, who have taken part in international tournaments in the Philippines and in Myanmar.
"The athletes sent to this tournament have the potential to win the Southeast Asia Table Tennis Championship," he said.
