BUENOS AIRES, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- Slovakia's Emanuela Luknarova powered past her rivals to win the girls' kayak obstacle slalom gold medal at the Youth Olympics here on Tuesday.
Luknarova completed the course in 1 minute 18.25 seconds, 1.35 seconds ahead of second-placed Doriane Delassus of France.
Chinese Taipei's Lai Tzu-Hsuan took bronze in 1:21.58.
In the boys' obstacle slalom final, Terence Benjamin Saramandif of Mauritius grabbed gold with a time of 1:18.86.
New Zealand's Finn Anderson took silver in 1:23.26 and Spain's Yoel Becerra Bernardez bronze in 1:23.22.
