SEOUL, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- One has been found dead and two others injured in a carbon dioxide leak accident at a Samsung Electronics semiconductor factory in South Korea, local media reported Tuesday.
The accident occurred at about 3:40 p.m. local time (0640 GMT) at a Samsung chip plant in Yongin city, east of the capital Seoul.
Three workers of a Samsung subcontractor were found lying on the floor. They were taken to a nearby hospital, but one was declared dead at the hospital. The remaining two had yet to regain their consciousness.
Police and fire authorities were investigating the exact cause of the incident.
In March 2014, one worker of a Samsung subcontractor was killed for a carbon dioxide leak in a Samsung facility in Suwon city, Gyeonggi province.
