JAKARTA, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Taipei grabbed two gold medals in the 18th Asian Games men's and women's 20-kilometer roller skating events on Friday.
Chao Tsucheng clocked the fastest time of 33 minutes 51.418 seconds to win the men's 20km race while Li Mengchu won the women's 20km race with a time of 44:59.929.
"Winning golds was our target. We have prepared for a long time, and it was not easy because we had to fight hard against the athletes from around Asia," said Chinese Taipei team manager Chen Si.
