MADRID, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- FC Barcelona have confirmed on Wednesday the loan of striker Paco Alcacer at German side Borussia Dortmund.
The deal will see Borussia pay Barcelona around two million euros and take on the entirety of the Spanish striker's wages.
Borussia also have a clause which allows them to make the move permanent for around 23 million euros and five percent of the fee arising from any further sale of the player.
Alcacer joined Barca from Valencia two seasons ago, but struggled to win a regular starting place in a side containing Leo Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar. He was unable to take the step up following Neymar's departure to Paris Saint Germain a year ago and leaves the Camp Nou after making 50 appearances (most of them as a substitute), in which he scored 15 goals.
