ULAN BATOR, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia will launch a national campaign to create a youth-friendly space, and increase job opportunities for them, an official said here Tuesday.
The month-long campaign, Youth Development Month, will be launched on Aug. 24 under the motto "Let's create youth-friendly space" in cooperation with relevant organizations, said Sodnomtsog Sukh-Ochir, head of the Youth Development Department of Ulan Bator.
Some 24 events will be held to increase youth participation in solving social problems, and create opportunities for them to develop and work, the official told Xinhua.
Mongolia has a population of over 3 million, with a third aged between 15 and 34, according to data from the National Statistical Office.
