HARARE, July 31 (Xinhua) -- The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) on Tuesday released the first batch of results for seven parliamentary constituencies showing the ruling ZANU-PF party winning six of the seats and the opposition MDC Alliance getting one.
There are a total of 210 parliamentary constituencies.
ZEC chairperson Priscilla Chigumba said they will continue to announce the results as they become ready.
Results for the presidential election are expected by Aug. 4.
