HARARE, July 6 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Zimbabwe's major media outlets on Friday.

-- Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa says his administration will reward talent and innovation in its drive to transform Zimbabwe into a middle-income economy by 2030 following the launch of a youth Empower Bank on Thursday.

The bank, with seed money of 12.5 million U.S. dollars, is aimed at capacitating young entrepreneurs with loans to start business projects. (The Herald)

-- The Zimbabwean government has extended its heifer distribution programme under Command Agriculture to six more provinces, in a move aimed at spreading economic empowerment to a majority of rural communities.
