TOKYO, July 2 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks retreated slightly Monday morning as investor sentiment was dented by a weaker-than-expected business sentiment survey released by the Bank of Japan.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average lost 33.75 points, or 0.15 percent, from Friday to 22,270.76.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, fell 5.03 Retail, rubber product and food-linked issues comprised those that declined the most by the morning break.
