SHENZHEN, June 29 (Xinhua) -- Seven people have been detained in south China's Shenzhen City for an online soccer gambling case involving 100 million yuan (about 15.1 million U.S. dollars), police said Friday.
In a crackdown on soccer gambling during the 2018 FIFA World Cup, police of Nanshan District caught the suspects in a raid on June 21, seizing several computers and cellphones.
Further investigation is underway.
