TOKYO, June 29 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks lost ground Friday morning.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average lost 76.18 points, or 0.34 percent, from Thursday to 22,194.21.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, fell 6.29 points, or 0.36 percent, to 1,720.71.
Oil and coal product, mining, and fishery, agriculture and forestry-oriented issues comprised those that declined the most before the morning break.
