JERUSALEM, June 27 (Xinhua) -- Six Israeli start-ups, which developed innovative technologies, have reached the final stage of the "Israel-India Bridge for Innovation" program, the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA) said Wednesday.
The finalists' activity areas involve health, agriculture and water management.
According to the IIA, the selected companies will participate in a unique matchmaking event in India, with local corporations and investors.
The program was launched last year by the IIA during meetings between the prime ministers of both countries.
A total of 18 candidate companies for the program presented their technologies to chief executive officers and investors from Israel and India last week in the city of Tel Aviv.
