Poverty reduction measures taken in Luonan County, NW China's Shaanxi

Aerial photo taken on June 17, 2018 shows a relocation village where villagers from mountainous area moved into in Gucheng Township of Luonan County, northwest China's Shaanxi Province. Various industries were developed and cooperatives were set up to help reduce poverty in Luonan County. Residents can earn dividends by offering land to cooperatives or salary by working. Also technique support platform was built and skills trainings were held for the residents who lived below the poverty line. About 10,537 residents of 2,752 households from eight villages of Luonan County were lifted out of poverty in 2017. (Xinhua/Tao Ming)
