KAMPALA, May 15 (Xinhua) -- Hosts Uganda beat Somalia 37-16 on Tuesday in the U-18 2018 Africa Zone 5 International Handball Federation Challenge Cup.
After suffering a narrow 30-29 loss to arch-rivals Kenya earlier, Uganda came all out to win the second game played at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole Complex.
Ethiopia also continued with their good form as they stopped Tanzania 42-15 in the U-20 to follow up on their junior team's earlier 33-21 victory over Kenya.
Action continues on Wednesday with three matches in the youth category and four in the junior category.
The event which started on Monday and ends on May 20 has attracted Rwanda, Burundi, Sudan, Kenya, Ethiopia, Somalia, Tanzania and hosts Uganda. Enditem
