LONDON, May 10 (Xinhua) -- British stocks rose on Thursday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up 38.45 points, or 0.50 percent, to close at 7,700.97 points.
Next, the British clothing and home products retailer, soared 6.14 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. ITV and Royal Bank of Scotland Group rose by 6.05 percent and 3.77 percent, respectively.
