LONDON, April 3 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Tuesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down 26.15 points or 0.37 percent to close at 7,030.46 points.
Micro Focus International, a British software and information technology business, soared 2.45 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Sky and Smurfit Kappa Group rose by 2.12 percent and 1.60 percent, respectively.
Mediclinic International, an international private hospital group, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 4.59 percent.
GKN, an automotive and aerospace components company, dropped 3.63 percent. Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust dropped 3.21 percent. Enditem
