ULAN BATOR, March 15 (Xinhua) -- Mongolian Defense Minister Enkhbold Nyamaa met with his Qatari counterpart Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah in Doha on further strengthening bilateral cooperation in the defense sector, the Mongolian Defense Ministry said Thursday.
The pair met on the sidelines of the sixth edition of the Doha International Maritime Defense Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX) in the Qatari capital on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on a wide range of issues in the defense sector, including the revision of cooperation agreements between the two countries and exchange of visits by the two defense ministries.
They also talked about Qatar's participation in the annual Khaan Quest military exercises in Mongolia and the continuation of the training of Mongolian servicemen at the Qatari military academy.
