SKOPJE, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said Friday his government was working to create favorable climate for fresh investments and for boosting companies' competitiveness.
Speaking at a reception organized in honor of the 96th anniversary of the Economic Chamber of Macedonia, Zaev said that Macedonia citizen's prosperity and well-being was seen through the success of businesses.
Zaev invited Macedonian businesses to review the government measures under the plan for economic growth and to work together on stimulating them to take advantage of the state support.
"Your success is also a success of the government that offers substantial support of the business sector," Zaev said.
Economic Chamber President Branko Azeski commended the economic growth plan as a successful project that would invigorate the investment activity.
According to him, a small country like Macedonia must cooperate regionally and economically while he urged state institutions to strengthen their capacities and to be a true service to business and citizens.
