BELGRADE, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- Serbian Red Star and Russian CSKA drew 0-0 on Tuesday here in the first leg of round 32 of the UEFA Europa League.
The first opportunity for the guest team arose in the 10th minute when CSKA's Vitinho released a powerful kick from a distance of less than 10 meters directly into the hands of Red Star's goalkeeper Borjan.
Ten minutes later, the home team made a decent attempt from a free kick, but Ben Nabouhane's shot went slightly above the goal.
Before the half time both teams had several chances with ball possession on the side of Red Star, but the score left unchanged.
Red Star entered the second half as the more dominant team, closing down on CSKA's goal, but the guest team answered with several quick and dangerous counterattacks.
The second leg that will will be played in Moscow next Wednesday.
