KHARTOUM, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir will travel on Saturday to Ethiopia for the 30th summit of African Union (AU), official SUNA news agency reported Friday.
Al-Bashir will be accompanied by a high-level delegation including Minister of Presidency Fadl Abdalla Fadl, Minister of Water Resources, Irrigation and Electricity Mutaz Mussa, Minister of Trade Hatim Al-Sir, Minister of Welfare and Social Security Mashir Al-Dawalab, Chief of National Intelligence and Security Services Mohamed Atta al-Moula Abbas, and State Minister at the Presidency and Director of the President's Offices Hatim Hassan Bakheet.
The AU summit, which has started preparatory meetings at levels of permanent representatives and foreign ministers, is set to discuss issues relating to corruption, illegal immigration, terrorism, human trafficking, peace and security in Africa and AU structural reforms.
