BAGHDAD, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- At least six people were killed and 24 others wounded Monday in twin bomb explosions, one by a suicide bomber, in the Iraqi capital here, an interior ministry source said.
The attack took place in the morning when a suicide bomber detonated his explosive vest at a crowded site near al-Tayaran Square where many construction workers were gathered, a local source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
Another blast followed when a roadside bomb went off at the scene, the source said.
