RABAT, Dec. 29 (Xinhua) -- Morocco and Sierra Leone expressed Friday strong willingness to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
The statement was made during talks between Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita with a high-level delegation led by Samura Kamara, envoy of the president of Sierra Leone, and the country's FM Kaifala Marah.
The talks focused on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, notably in the economic field.
Marah hailed the quality of ties between Sierra Leone and Morocco, stressing the importance of strengthening these links, particularly through the development of economic cooperation.
"We are at a point where we need to broaden the scope of cooperation between our two countries at the national, regional and international levels to strengthen our diplomatic relations and especially to develop investments," he said.
Marah said the two countries share the same goal of rising the level of bilateral ties, underling the promising opportunities, especially in the areas of agriculture and trade.
