HANOI, Dec. 26 (Xinhua) -- The two world heritage sites of Hue and Hoi An in central Vietnam are among 12 must-visit Asian cities, local media on Tuesday quoted a foreign firm as saying.
Culture Trip, a London-based tourism company, says that Hue, former imperial capital, is one of the most stunning places to visit with its endless number of breathtaking pagodas, palaces, temples, century old citadel walls, delicious cuisine and rich history, daily newspaper Thanh Nien (Young People) reported.
The UNESCO world heritage site is the perfect place for those in search of cultural adventures, Culture Trip comments.
Regarding Hoi An, Culture Trip says the old town, classified as a UNESCO world heritage site, is incredibly beautiful to walk around, with all its narrow and winding lanes, and Chinese style shop houses. It is also common, and good value for money, to go to the local tailor for custom made suits.
The list of top 12 Asian cities also includes China's Shanghai, as well as China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
