MUMBAI, July 18 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets closed lower Wednesday.
Selling resumed in the last hour of trade, with the Sensex trading over 100 points lower. All sectoral indices were trading in the red, with maximum cuts visible among metals, FMCG and auto names.
The benchmark S&P, BSE Sensex closed at 36,373.44, 146.52 points or 0.40 percent down compared to its previous close at 36,519.96.
