JAKARTA, April 12 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian national archer Dellie Treesyadinda is confident that she will secure a gold medal at the Asian Games this year.
Treesyadinda said that she will train in China and compete in a friendly there in an effort to be more competitive.
"Tryouts are one of the ways to measure our capacity and map our position among those archers from foreign countries," she said.
Treesyandinda secured a silver medal in the recent SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
She is the daughter of Indonesian archery legend Lilies Handayani, a member of the Indonesian archery team that won a silver medal in the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
In addition to having training and friendly matches in China, she is also heading to Turkey in order to complete her preparation.
The 18th Asian Games is scheduled to be held in August in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta and Palembang, the provincial capital of South Sumatra.
