RABAT, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- Morocco and Bangladesh signed agreements here on Wednesday to deepen bilateral cooperation.
The Moroccan foreign minister Nasser Bourita met with his Bangladeshi counterpart Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali, and a draft agreement on bilateral consultations between the foreign ministries was signed.
They also inked an agreement to avoid double taxation and tax evasion regarding income tax.
Mahmood Ali hailed in a statement the "historical" ties linking the two countries, highlighting the importance of these agreements in consolidating and developing bilateral diplomatic relations.
The meeting was also an opportunity for the two officials to discuss ways to further strengthen relations, he said.
